good bands = slint, king kong, faun fables (i bought "the family album" and it's severely disappointing though), white magic, miighty flashlight, and brightblack (their record, however, is excellent)
mark kozelek pulled out which was rubbish, made even more rubbish by being replaced by fucking sons and daughters. shit off.

múm was excellent for the short time i was in the press bit due to a lovely man who interned at saddle-creek giving us his press pass, but i was ushered out after three songs and was surrounded by a lot of people talking and not being able to sit down, stare and just listen made it shit. disappointing. i don't know what the hell they were doing headlining.
dancing till 5am with rich on sunday night made me "well glad" and cheered me up after losing my wallet, (when i rang the bank to cancel my debit card the woman asked me lots of specific questions about where i lost it and then went "aaaaaaaahhhh were you at atp? ayyy! i've been there a few times, how were slint?" etc etc which was FUNNY.)
lots of stupid funny things, ginger men I CAN SEE YOUR MOUTH BUT I CAN'T SEE YOUR MONEY, pumping money into roulette and millionaire, locals afraid of notes, everyone in camber sands works in pontins, hearing leesey's lovely voice pumping out of speakers at the record fair etc etc
met a boy off the internet, i think we scared him... LOTS. (Y)!
missed luke a lot, but i am silly, i returned home and he whisked me off to his place, where he had stuck pictures of otters on "my side" of the bed, and given me my own wee "bedside table" with a tupperware box full of seeds, comics, books about otters, and porn on it. THEN: all three formats of the new björk single and lots of fall seven inches were skillfully strewn across the bed! that boy knows what i love, SEEDS PORN OTTERS BJÖRK AND THE FALL. and him of course. SCHYEAH.
