in other news: i am about to depart to visit my parents with 'the husband', we're going to get drunk on pitchers of cocktails and either a) fall over b) puke c) FALL OVER AND PUKE.
work is ok i suppose and my house is as rubbish as ever, but none of that matters as i have the coolest kid in town by my side who i love more than anyone/thing in the world, even more than OTTERS, we've started a band called lutra lutra and it is proper dead good... we walk around parks on come downs eating sweets, drinking pineapple juice and holding hands, we plan murderous rampages and make comics about robot cats, every second spent with him is never a second wasted even if we're passed out in a big drunken/drug induced/tired MESS. he makes me feel the happiest i have ever felt IN LIFE. LIFE.

IN 1975 NO ONE DIED

Really? What are your band called? I don't want to put too many on at my night as it's more of a disco but I know a million (make that a couple) of people who could put you on.
The VC's are pretty good, I like the fifties surf thing they have going on. Shame you missed Thursday though, it was rather good!

Oh, we're called Corinthians. We only just started, but we'd rather play Manchester than Wigan, just because Wigan is too small and backstabby. Website (not finished, and needs a better URL here and yeah, cool.

I think The VCs are really good, yes. They just shot a video, I understand, with the folks who do Gorillaz stuff.

Anyway, who are you? I am willing to put money on that I have met you and stuff.

I am Vic, how do you know Callie? We met when we were 16 and followed shit bands around the toilet venues of England. Do you play out in Manchester at all? If not I don't know if we would have met as I have never ventured to Wigan before and I don't really intend to!
Stephen or Gypsumfantastic on Callie's friendslist has a band night at the retro bar called Brave new world... you should talk to him. As does Mat Payne who has indigo... he doesn't use Livejournal much as he has a life but has one at mathewboring.

I know Callie through the internet, basically. I met her once in Cheltenham. She's cool. I wasn't being myself that weekend though and maybe I flamed the whole 'making a good impression' thing.
