THINGS:
i have no dollars
i have a new flat which i am moving into with my wonderful husband, complete with huge living room, nice bathroom, nice kitchen, bedroom, and studio; full of drums, guitars, digital 3-track with built in drum machine, 4-track, computer blitzed up to the eyeballs of programmes like cubase, fruityloops, reason etc, PIANO, sampler, melodicas, accordians, keyboards, violin, lots of strange noise making things: all very exciting.
i am blissfully happy. i am finally comfortable and happy in a home. i am finally in a position where i can make music by myself and with other people without fear of embarrasing myself (or without adequate equipment)
i am living with a pub on one side and a park on the other.

in other news: i am about to depart to visit my parents with 'the husband', we're going to get drunk on pitchers of cocktails and either a) fall over b) puke c) FALL OVER AND PUKE.
work is ok i suppose and my house is as rubbish as ever, but none of that matters as i have the coolest kid in town by my side who i love more than anyone/thing in the world, even more than OTTERS, we've started a band called lutra lutra and it is proper dead good... we walk around parks on come downs eating sweets, drinking pineapple juice and holding hands, we plan murderous rampages and make comics about robot cats, every second spent with him is never a second wasted even if we're passed out in a big drunken/drug induced/tired MESS. he makes me feel the happiest i have ever felt IN LIFE. LIFE.

today a bike knocked me down on the street, it was funny, but it fucking hurts. i have cuts and big massive bruises, schyeah.

good bands = slint, king kong, faun fables (i bought "the family album" and it's severely disappointing though), white magic, miighty flashlight, and brightblack (their record, however, is excellent)
mark kozelek pulled out which was rubbish, made even more rubbish by being replaced by fucking sons and daughters. shit off.
need new body were shit.
múm was excellent for the short time i was in the press bit due to a lovely man who interned at saddle-creek giving us his press pass, but i was ushered out after three songs and was surrounded by a lot of people talking and not being able to sit down, stare and just listen made it shit. disappointing. i don't know what the hell they were doing headlining.
dancing till 5am with rich on sunday night made me "well glad" and cheered me up after losing my wallet, (when i rang the bank to cancel my debit card the woman asked me lots of specific questions about where i lost it and then went "aaaaaaaahhhh were you at atp? ayyy! i've been there a few times, how were slint?" etc etc which was FUNNY.)
lots of stupid funny things, ginger men I CAN SEE YOUR MOUTH BUT I CAN'T SEE YOUR MONEY, pumping money into roulette and millionaire, locals afraid of notes, everyone in camber sands works in pontins, hearing leesey's lovely voice pumping out of speakers at the record fair etc etc
met a boy off the internet, i think we scared him... LOTS. (Y)!
missed luke a lot, but i am silly, i returned home and he whisked me off to his place, where he had stuck pictures of otters on "my side" of the bed, and given me my own wee "bedside table" with a tupperware box full of seeds, comics, books about otters, and porn on it. THEN: all three formats of the new björk single and lots of fall seven inches were skillfully strewn across the bed! that boy knows what i love, SEEDS PORN OTTERS BJÖRK AND THE FALL. and him of course. SCHYEAH.

have been doing nothing for the past two weeks apart from going "hmm, wh? ah? aw!" particulary in the company of one certain boy, who makes me glad, apart from when he puts crisps on my back, i hate that, it's my least favourite thing.

* this doesn't imply that sage francis thinks i'm a cunt, it was just a thought due to listening to songs on walkman based equipment earlier by a person/people who don't like me, but not now, sage francis thinks i'm "ok"

January: This is a really dumb movie the only reason I liked it was because of the James Duval.

February: jon spencer james duval blues explosion is coming to my house to record an ep, whoo (Y)

March: the "good vibrations" dvd is funny yet sad, yet funny, yet sad.

April: atp then; deerhoof, le tigre, modest mouse, malkmus, black dice, sonic youth, lightning bolt, explosions in the sky, bardo pond, love, dizzee dizzee raaass-caaal, were all certainly "highlights".

May: 1) i have to stop getting so trashed that i cannot talk properly

June: coxon on sunday was ace, i danced like a moron by myself.

July: last night i dreamt that a record existed of a collaboration between melt-banana and james brown and it was the BEST THING I HAD EVER HEARD.

August: today we went to the pub with josie and sophie and on the walk home i got sad about the affinity that i once had with a horse.

September: i just got my first tattoo on my upper right arm.

October: cheltenham's not so bad.

November: many types of tea
